While we so appreciate ONE of our board members working on this problem, we ask ourselves how long do we wait....
PLEASE step in with advice....
Ever since a decision was made to remove a working pump from our yard area THIS is what we are left with. Flooding never occurred prior to its removal. If we had been consulted we would have fought to keep the pump in, but we were not.
We were offered to take this up with Grenelefe Golf Course, but that is why we pay dues and have a board that is to help resolve issues like this for ALL members. … I appreciate the efforts Tom has made. Still waiting for results.
As most board members return to their summer homes WE are left with a backyard this is literally useless and unsafe ALL summer long.
Henry Corns, President of the Homeowners' Board of Grenelefe Estates approved the following response: "Ken Carter of Westgate is fully aware of this problem with the flooding caused by their pond in front of the 13th green of the South Course. He has planned a solution and is preparing to implement it in the near future. In the interim, he has had his people check on the backyards there and is prepared to pump the area if necessary."
Thank you!
